Fees, Funding and Cancellations

• Sessions are billed at $215 and run for 50-60 minutes.
• Payment is required on the day of your session
• Cancellations within 48 hours of your appointment are charged a fee of $215. Cancellation fees are not eligible for Medicare rebate / funding
• We understand that emergencies pop up from time to time and if you need to cancel for legitimate reasons the clinic will consider waiving the fee. We may also consider moving your appointment to another date at no cost to you. Please note that this is at the discretion of the clinic so please make sure to communicate with us so we can consider waiving any fees.

Medicare
• You may eligible for a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions. To access this funding please see your GP and ask for a Mental Health Treatment Plan and have them e-mail it through to us, or bring it in with you on the day of your first session.
• The Medicare rebate increases slightly most years and is currently $92.90 meaning your gap costs will be $122.10
• Payment is required in full on the day of your session or prior to, and after your session the medicare rebate will be applied for. This can take 24-48 hours to land in your account, but is often quite quick.

Private Health Insurance
• You may be eligible for a rebate from your private health insurance under your extras cover
• After your session we can provide you with an invoice which you can then present to your insurer to claim against
• Rebates amounts vary from insurer to insurer, so similar to Medicare claiming you are likely to be out of pocket / have gap costs after claiming
• Not all extras policies cover psychology sessions, so please check with your insurer if you are unsure

Full Fee Paying
• You’re welcome to self-refer without seeing a GP and can simply pay the full fee for your sessions.
